When you do your flight training, it is impossible to learn everything. It would also be expensive if you need to pay for an airplane and a flight instructor every time you want to learn something new. So most of us complete our flight training and afterward, we fly alone or with friends to discover and learn new things. Meet the team!

I'm Pieter-Jan De Coninck, my brother and I made this website and I present/edit the videos. I have been flying since I was old enough to see over the dashboard (with a pillow of course). Officially I have over 18 years of flying experience, of which 9 years as a full time flight instructor and thousands of hours flight time. I have seen more or less everything inside and outside the cockpit, accept for an engine/cockpit fire. Well... two times I came very close to having a fire onboard.

But with somethings I do not mind having no personal experience with...

And of course, flying is save! But if you fly so many hours things can and will happen.

On this website I want to collect and store as much knowledge as possible. All this

knowledge is not mine alone. This is the knowledge of my father, who is a very

experienced flight instructor and airline pilot. This is the knowledge of Dirk also

know as 'Speedy' who was a military pilot, back in the day

he flew the F-104 Startfighter.

This is the knowledge of so many other pilots who I know and have learned so many things from. Still to this day, I want to keep gaining as much knowledge as possible from as many pilots as possible to keep on improving my own flying skills.

PPL/LAPL theorie boeken

Onze theorieboeken zijn een goede voorbereiding voor het PPL en LAPL theorie-examen. Onze cursus voldoet aan de EASA wetgeving en is geschreven en gevormd aan de hand van de officiële Belgische en Nederlandse vragenbank. Zo heb je alle kennis voorhanden om de vragen op het examen te kunnen beantwoorden.

Onze cursus maakt het studeren eenvoudig.

Er is een grote kans dat je het studeren moet combineren met het werk- en gezinsleven. Om je te helpen vind je op het einde van elk hoofdstuk een samenvatting.

In de luchtvaart gebruiken we heel wat afkortingen: TAS, NDB, QDM, VSI, OAT,... Als beginnend student ken je deze afkortingen niet. Telkens als we een afkorting gebruiken, schrijven we altijd voluit geschreven woord ernaast.

Bijvoorbeeld: In de AIP (aeronautical information publication) vind je informatie over FIRs (flight information regions).
